“MT 40th Birthday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

My three girls and I stayed in the Lilypad at the Eerald Iguana for four nights. Our stay was wonderful. We had three large beds and sufficient space to move about and enjoy outselves. The activity area is where we enjoyed the hot tub & pool, breakfast, and just laid in the sun visiting. We had massages and facials which the staff booked for us when I called for room reservations. It was heavenly!! The whole surroundings and atmosphere is superb...quiet and completely engulfed in flowers, trees and greenery. The Innkeepers were very cordial and helpful. The town of Ojia is friendly and carefree. We had a wonderful time at the Emerald Iguana and would recomment it to anyone wanting a quiet place to relax. We hope to travel from Montana to visit again.

Room Tip: The photos on the web site are very good representative of the Emerald Iguana. I found visiting with...

“Nice Inn to Get Away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

We stayed at the Emerald Iguana Inn, in the Grasshopper Room, for a nice overnight getaway, away from the kids. The room was large and comfortable, with all the amenities, including our own private balcony. The bathroom was a little bit small in the corner. We had a nice breakfast by the pool. The only issue we had is that because we were on the bottom floor, we heard footsteps, a running dishwater, and running water from the floor above us.

“Girls Getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2012

Spent one gloriously peaceful night at the Emerald Iguana Inn. 3 lifelong friends wanted to get together away from families and work.. this was the perfect spot. The Innkeepers were so helpful and fun. We stayed in the "Lilypad" suite and it was warm and welcoming and very comfy. The linens were lush and the bathrooms roomy and nicely appointed.

The perfect place for a girls getaway or a romantic weekend. Secluded and luxurious.

“Enchanting, Romantic, Charming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2012

Just a few words to describe the lovely Emerald Iguana Inn. It is conveniently located nestled off the main road but in the middle of town, walking distance to lots of restaurants, Starr Market, cinema, museums, plenty of shops and tons of walking trails. I have stayed at Ojai Valley Inn and Spa many times and I will never stay there again after visiting Emerald Iguana Inn. I highly reccommend the massage in your comfy room!

My husband and I stayed in the Peacock room. Very adorable, with so much attention to detail, down to the wonderful bedding. I am a sheet fanatic. You can tell the owners place close attention to detail.

We had a wonderful, romantic time. We went to fabulous dinners, (a MUST Is BODEES Restaurant and AZU!!! ) After dinners we returned to our room, lite the fire in the beautiful stove fire place, and sipped a couple of local wines which we picked up from the market down the road.

Definately worth the getaway where you feel like you are in some remote place, and its only 1.5 hours from LA .

LOVED IT! CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK , i'd stay there again and again. Any excuse to eat at BODEES again! Make sure to order the Tuna Tartare!

“Great for a get away”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

My finance and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was incredible friendly and helpful, and the facility was clean. We stayed in the Peacock room (cute one bedroom cottage with full kitchen, fireplace and claw foot tub). It was located a short walk/ drive from the downtown strip. I read a review that said the breakfast was clearly from Costco so I had low expectations, but either that person was incorrect or they changed the offerings since then. They had great coffee, bagels & pastries from a local bakery, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit and cereal, all served poolside. It was a great way to start the day. I would definitely stay here again.
