The price was right, The room was decent and big just not sound proof. While it was nice to have a fridge in the room this one was very VERY loud!!! Breakfast was... OK! So why did they have to put someone in the room right on top of us and right next to us, when there were plenty of empty rooms? The people upstairs sounded like they were bowling all night! The people next to us where very loud too, but they were only a problem in the morning.

Only one clerk at desk and customers lined up to the door. Left to use another hotel.

My sister and I were walk ins and felt lucky to find this motel! We found the staff to be very friendly. Our room was clean, had 2 queen beds which were very comfortable, nice plush bedding and pillows. The bathroom area had a full sized counter, big enough for 2 people to use at the same time. The pool is unheated but very refreshing after a hot travel day. The motel is close to several restaurants that you can walk to and Oakhurst itself is a clean neat small town. The breakfast had a lot of selection - The outside seating area does fill up, but there are couches/chairs in the lobby you can also sit at. Its a short drive from here to the southern entrance to Yosemite. We enjoyed our stay and will go there again next time we visit Yosemite!

We chose this hotel based on the proximity to Yosemite. I didn't expect much going in, but I was pleasantly surprised by the room's size and cleanliness. Also, free breakfast was included. Typically, free breakfasts are filled with empty calorie high carb food. As a diabetic, I was happy that they also served eggs, fruit, sausage and yogurt. One warning to those visiting Yosemite, even though Oakhurst is 15 mins to the South entrance of the park be prepared for a 20 to 30 minute drive. The road there is one lane with a low speed limit. Also, most of Yosemite's main attractions are about an hour drive from the South entrance. If I ever return, I will try harder to stay within the park. For some reason I was only able to input 5's; however, 4's would be more appropriate.
