We crashed at this place on the way to San Diego. It was 2:30 a.m. and we were dead-tired and had been driving for more than 6 hours after a full day's work. We pulled off the freeway at Norwalk and it was the first place we saw. After checking in and getting into the room, I could tell right away that the carpet was very dirty. We could barely get to sleep because the walls were paper-thin and it sounded like our next-door-neighbors were either throwing a ball against the wall in rapid succession, or were twirling something that made a lot of noise! Next morning, I can see that the place is absolutely filthy; the walls are stained, so is the shower, and I was right in my initial impression of the carpet -- it's GROSS!!! I told my husband that we had to get out of there right away -- that I felt like I needed a flea dip or to incinerate all my clothes! I am NOT a snob, I have stayed at plenty of motels, but cleanliness is a MUST!!!
