“Never been disappointed by Best Western....”

I've been staying in Best Western for the last 6 years because they always have clean rooms and are centrally located to everything I needed to get to, but when I read the reviews on Trip Advisor here I was expecting a hotel that was below the standards I expected for Best Western and was ready to move my reservation to the hotel recommended to me by my company, but I am glad that I stayed with this hotel. I got in late and had a bit of a problem finding a parking spot, the lot is a little tight, but got to the counter and was quickly greeted, told them my name and they had my key ready and I was in my room in 5 minutes. The room was clean and well maintained everything I come to expect from Best Western and the continential buffet was filling if your O.K. with hard boiled eggs, waffle maker, pastries and breads set up in their main lobby with free copies of USA Today for those people who enjoy print papers. I would stay here again when I am in town on business.

“Quality place, but needs to work on price consistancy Check Out times for late arrivals.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 April 2010

I actually live close to this Best Western, however I'm going through a divorce and this place suits me, it's close to my home, comfortable, and cost effective.. for a little getaway, "ME" time..
I stayed at this hotel on 4/2, had a fantastic experience, friendly staff, clean rooms, quick check in, felt like I was on a mini vacation. Decided (last minute) that I'd stay at the same Best Western early morning on 4/3 (went out with the girls for little dinner and dancing), to my surprise the price changed, on the internet it read $75 however when I showed up the (late night window) the front desk person said $95 for the night, when I asked why the price hike he said it's the weekend rate, I didn't question (I was tired) and paid the fees. I also confirmed the check OUT time (thinking it would be on 4/4 Sunday at 12PM) nope, I was told that check OUT was the SAME DAY, 4/3 at 12PM, huh? Same day check in/check out at $95 bucks? Not much sleep for me.. he did say that I could call in the morning and they'd extend my check out time, which I did and I got a harty 1 hour more...WOW! Luckily they have coffee in the rooms that woke me up and got me outta there by 1PM. LOL!
Overall, I'll give this place another shot, I'd recommend that you do all of your planning in advance (if possible) and book your room on the internet to insure you get the same rate.

“Best Western Norwalk - Gouges Guests”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 July 2009

I attended the NHRA races over the weekend of June 26 to 29 with two friends and stayed at the Best Western Norwalk hotel.
The hotel was fine but I have an issue with being gouged for the weekend rate we had to pay. The normal rate for this room was doubled over this particular weekend because of the drag races being held in Norwalk.
I expect better of Best Western...treat your customers fairly and they'll return...do otherwise and expect to have vacant rooms. Best Western Norwalk had me over a barrel this weekend....don't expect me to be back.

“Very Happy with our stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 August 2008

We just returned from a six day stay at the BW Norwalk and were very happy with our stay. The desk clerks, staff, maids etc. were all very helpful and courteous. The pool was great and clean. There were 8 of us ranging in age from 11 to 80 yrs old. The hotel is located closely to eating establishments, grocery stores, the freeways, etc. We would HIGHLY recommend this hotel and will absolutely stay in the future.

“Worst hotel stay ever! And I mean: E-V-E-R”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 March 2008

We stayed at this horrible hotel for about 1 1/2 weeks because we were in the process of adopting a baby, and at the end of the stay I felt compelled to yell at the manager and call Best Western Corporate to complain about this hotel. I NEVER complained about any hotel before, I am pretty easy-going, and I stayed at many, many hotels in my life. Often for extended periods of time.

What I hated:
- The mircowave turning table was not working
- We had ants in the bathroom
- They renovated at that time, the elevator was not working and we had a newborn baby with us. Still, they thought it was a great idea to put us in the third floor.
- We asked if it was possible to get an extra table, because we needed more space for the baby. Although at least 20 rooms were unoccupied due to the renovating, we were denied our request. The woman at the front desk told my husband "Don't get paranoid, you can always change your baby on the bed."
- One day we came home and found out that the water had been shut off in the meantime. We couldn't wash our hands, our baby was crying and we couldn't flush the toilet. Nobody at the hotel had bothered to tell us of the water shut down ahead of time. When I complained at the front desk, saying I had no water to clean a baby bottle, this horrible woman said to me "Well, we don' have water here either."
- The front desk staff was terrible - people had a sullen look on their faces, lied you straight in the face and couldn't care less about you.
- Only positive experience: it was very clean and the cleaning staff was very nice.
