Business trip to Newark made this hotel a great location. Hotel provided transportation from San Jose airport to hotel (and back if needed) and also within a few miles radius of their location. This meant I did not need to rent a car for my meeting. There is Hertz in the hotel lobby if needed. BART just a hotel shuttle ride away to get to San Francisco for the weekend. Room was nicer than a typical Hilton room. Good bedding, welcoming staff, and Rod (shuttle driver) was exceptional. Breakfast buffet was good. Dinner was okay. Very limited wine options. Concierge lounge was very nice with attentive hostess. I will stay here for all future business trips to this area.

This hotel is great, we stayed here for a work conference for 4 nights and staff and service was great. However I doubt I would stay here again due to the location.

There is a Starbuck's opposite the hotel and around 5-10 drive is a nice shopping mall.

I've recently come back from a business trip and my second time staying at the Hilton in Newark/Fremont and had another good experience. The rooms are well appointed and spacious, easy to work in and saty comfortably. The beds are above average and provide a very good night's sleep. The staff was helpful and welcomed me back to the hotel. The restaurant and bar were adequate for the area. The layout of the hotel is a bit confusing with many twists and turns to get to your room, definitely helps to take a map with you but even then I got lost a couple of times trying to find my room! I'll go back again for sure the next time I'm out in the area. Good value for this part of California.

Ive stayed in the past. Just know they have loads of Koreans on buses from LA weekly but its not a bad thing unless your asian and checking in at the same time. First upon check-in Chris stated they would charge my card $50 as a deposit for my entire stay. Then a couple days later I was in the front and they were busy. I waited in line to get another key and this short heavy set Filipino lady who I KNOW saw me waiting asked a good looking gentleman who JUST walked in if she could help him. I was in complete amazement and upset because my kid was in the car asleep with my wife waiting. Then on my last night of a 7 night stay, I noticed the hotel charged another $75 fee. I called the front and they informed me that "the computer" automatically charges it and that they couldn't do anything about it. Then she told me Chris will be in at 830AM. That morning I called and Vince answers and says Chris will not be in all day. I tell him of my situation and he says he will look into it. I also inform him that because of the extra charges, I wouldn't be able to use that card until my deposit is retuned. He automatically said I couldn't extend my stay without me even mention that was my intentions. Noon approached and no call from either one.
