I visited this hotel twice: at the beginning and at the end of my 2009 trip in the USA. The rooms were fine, the persons at the frontdesk were friendly, the breakfast was okay. The only thing that bothered me was the noise from a nearby mexican bar of restaurant: loud music in the afternoon and in the evening on Saturdays en Sundays. If possible, ask for a room on the frontside of the hotel.

Neither my husband or I had a good nights sleep. The mattress was horrible! And, the pillows were spring loaded. Also, the breakfast was not very good. There was no yogurt. They had a good selection of sweet rolls if you enjoy those.

Now a Comfort Inn & Suites...................My first stay ever with a Comfort Inn and i must say i'm totally blown away with the service and staff of this establishment. By far the best housekeeping staff i encounter on any trip in the past 20 years. Quick, efficent, and clean,clean,clean. Front Desk very friendly and helpful,free breakfast buffet better then most, location easily available to BART system to take you up to San Francisco or Oakland, 10 minute drive to San Jose. Did i mention this place is CLEAN and friendly to boot............................Loved It.

This hotel is close to the San Jose Airport and the Dumbarton Bridge, so it's very convenient to get around, but it's far enough away from the freeway to not have the noise.

All the usual HI Express stuff is here: showerhead, curved shower rod, cinnamon rolls; the staff is up to snuff.

The hotel was full during my stay and the only room left was a suite. It's fairly large, and the living room is well separated from the bedroom. The living room features a small wet bar, microwave, coffee maker, and mini-fridge as well as a TV, sofa, and some tables. There's also a skylight in this part of the room.

The bedroom area has another TV and a desk. There is both wired and wireless internet available. The wireless was sometimes congested, but the wired internet was always fast.

I'd stay here again.
