“Nice property in a decent location, saved us quite a bit compared to staying at the Convention Center”
We had a group of friends riding to San Diego for a convention. The convention center hotels were very expensive so we chose the Comfort Inn National City which saved us around $100 per night. It was only a 5 mile drive to the convention, and one night we even took public transit which was convenient since the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Unfortunately we stayed in town too long and missed the last bus back, so that was a lesson learned.
The pool and spa were very nice, wireless worked great, breakfast was very good with a choice of blueberry and regular waffles. They did have a security guard working on the weekend too, so it was nice to know someone was watching our motorcycles, but it didn't seem like it was a bad part of town compared to some of the other areas we saw a few miles away.
Room Tip: The rear of the property is very close to a residential street, so I would probably choose a room on...
