I needed someplace reasonably priced to stay the night before my flight out of San Diego.

I stayed at this hotel 10 or 15 years ago when it was a Holiday Inn and the area was a little sketchy. Both have improved dramatically.

The neighborhood felt safe and parking was free and in a garage.

I had a king room on the 8th floor. It was quite nice. The room was nicely decorated and the linens were of the quality I would expect at a Marriot or Hilton.

Check in/check out was quick and efficient and the staff was friendly.

The hotel is located close to I-5 and the trolley.

I think that this hotel is s step above what I normally expect from a Quality/Comfort/Clarion hotel.

The hotel is old as exhibited by the exterior. It is in a good area of this city as the main police station and city hall are 2 streets over. The room was incredible. I loved the design/layout, furniture was modern, carpet was visually appealing, and lamps were fitting. The room had a Sharp 32" LCD but no DVD player. The view from the room was calming. Now the turn offs were a bit serious. There was a stick for an additional window lock. The elevator was old. It cost 50 cents to send a fax. I discovered an unfinished electrical enclosure in the closet.

The saving grace was the superior customer service and price. I would stay here again, but I'm not much for staying at the same hotel unless we are talking about Hawaii.

This is an old hotel however the room was clean, however it does new some cleaning up on the exterior of the building. It is in an easy drive to the the 5 freeway. Not a bad location

I felt very safe to stay at this hotel with my 3 children. Being single with young kids can be hard traveling, but the hotel staffs at this hotel made our stay feel like home. We took the hotel shuttle to a few local attractions which was very easy and money efficient. The price paid for the week we were there was very reasonable and sure worth every penny. I honestly can say this hotel has the best staff and they care so much about their guests. I found everything very clean in the rooms and my kids really enjoyed watching shows on the "BIG" TV. I have no complaints. Thank you!
