This was our second visit to this hotel. The renovation of the public areas was really nicely done. We are platinum with Marriott, so we are used to being treated very well at their properties, but the staff here went way beyond friendly and helpful. The check in process was very pleasant, the concierge lounge was well appointed, and the concierge inside the lounge was great. She gave us lots of passes to some great wineries for free tastings. The best part of the hotel though was the restaurant in the lobby. The soup was out of this world, and the meatballs were fantastic. Again, the service was over the top. We rarely eat at hotel restaurants, especially in a place like Napa, but this place is a destination in itself.
The rooms are not terribly large, but well appointed with really comfy linens. The fitness center was good. They were also running some good spa specials, but we didn't have a chance to take advantage of them. We will definitely return.
Room Tip: Ask for a courtyard view.
