My wife and I travelled to the Napa Valley for a week for a wine tasting vacation and opted for this facility. The rooms are large, modern, clean and fairly quiet, with a comforable bed, fully equipped kitchen, and huge bathroom. Service was excellent. We didn't visit the common areas, so can't comment on them. Even though it's on the south end of the valley, it was convenient enough to get to any winery in the area, as well as all of the great restaurants. We would highly recommend a stay at the Vino Bello, especially if you're staying for more than a few days.

We booked this place blind for the first day of our weekend getaway to Napa. We paid about $100 for a studio, but upon arival were offered a 1 bedroom for an additional $30. The room was beautiful with a full kitchen and spa tub in the seperate bedroom. The staff was extremely attentive and the resort offers a shuttle to downtown if you want to eat or explore off property. I cooked dinner in the room and we ordered room service for breakfast, which was terific. The property is located on the south end of Napa Valley, and not in the mmost beautiful place, but the property itself is landscaped very nicely. It's about 8 minutes to our favorite winery (VanDerHyden...go there!) and the Stags Leap side of the valley. Tip, the quality of the wine is inversly proportional the size of the tasting room. Fancy building = crappy wine. Try to find the old experienced wineries, not the 400 or so that have opened in the last 15 years.

My husband and I are owers of Shell Vacations Club, this is one of thier beautiful locations. We alway enjoy our time there even if the weather is overcast, we just get a Limosine to drive us to private vineyards and enjoy several bottles of wine with our family and our friends who we invite to share this experience with us. The Resort has a beautiful rooms overlooking a wine cave and our rooms have plenty of room to entertain with a fireplace to keep us warm.
This is were we would love to live when we retire.

As an owner of Shell Vacation Club, this is one of their properties. This was a "staycation" for us and we absolutely loved it. All the units have kitchens, which we really like as an amenity regardless of where we vacation. Raley's is just a few minutes drive North on Soscol, so you can pick up groceries there. The resort is not located in the heart of town, so if you are an urbanite, stay elsewhere. We like the location for the peace and quiet. The resort has a pathway through a vineyard to the Grape Press structure that you can see from highway 29. Cole's Chophouse is our favorite restaurant in Napa, try their Chocoloate Martini for dessert, yummy!
