Awesome stay. Jim's recommendations for wine tasting were spot on and fantastic. Jamie's cookies in the evening and breakfast in the morning were the best. Highly recommend the Inn on First!

We can't say anything that hasn't been already stated. A great place to stay, and we will undoubtedly return on our next trip to the valley. Absolutely awesome.
Stay here -- you'll find yourself returning to the Inn earlier in the day, and reluctant to leave in the mornings.

My husband and I first decided to stay at the Inn on First based on excellent reviews. The inn far exceeded our expectations. We just stayed there for a second time and were equally impressed. Jim and Jaime are wonderful hosts and seem to genuinely care about us having a great experience. Each time, Jim has prepared the most delicious breakfast and even prepared a breakfast to go on the mornings we had to leave early. We really enjoy the freshly baked cookies and port that are out in the evenings. Both Jaime and Jim have given us great recommendations to wineries and restaurants each time and have not disappointed. The location of the Inn is great- it is just a short walk to many great restaurants and tasting rooms in downtown Napa. I can't think of one negative thing to say about the inn. Each stay has been so great- Jim and Jaime have made each visit unique and enjoyable. We look forward to our next visit.

I found The Inn On First street through Google. We decided to stay because 1) We only had 1 night and lots of B&Bs require two. 2) The room had a heart shaped tub and private access. 3) The decor of the B&B was contemporary and not overly "foo foo". We loved the personal touch you immediately experienced by receiving an email asking about food allergies/preferences (and Jim remembered when he met us too). The restaurant recommendations were great and I appreciated that reservations were made for us (to Celadon). The subtle touches I also loved were: the split of champagne left in our room, use of a picnic basket and water bottles, and the opportunity to purchase additional snacks for your room. Breakfast was delicious with homemade mini donuts, granola and a large breakfast nacho which was so fun to eat! It rained during our trip and I'd like to go back when the weather is warmer so we can get a better appreciation for the outdoors.
