My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights last October 22/25. We were well impressed with the fact that the old white mansion was totally redone. The hotel is conveniently located near downtown Napa, in a quite neighborhood. Our room was amazing and very comfortable. It was an unforgettable vacation and a perfect romantic getaway for couples! We strongly recommend this Inn.

This relatively new inn in Napa is excellent. It is a great place to stay in Napa.

The inn is in a large old mansion in a relatively unimpressive neighbourhood. The large white house was built around 100 years ago and has recently been restored / renovated by the new owners. They have done a magnificent job with the place.

The White House is not surprisingly white. It stands in beautifully lush grounds and looks impressive from the road. There is a large parking area which offers plenty of shade to keep cars cool.

You enter the house up some large stairs through large and impressive front door. As you enter the property there is a wow factor. The decor is stylish and not overdone. There are 2 large staircases. The staff are all friendly, not pushy but helpful when it comes to asking about tours, restaurant bookings and the like.

We were in Room 10 upstairs. This was a small suite with sitting room with desk and fireplace decorated in rich browns. There was a good sized white bathroom with 2 person Jacuzzi style bath and cosy bedroom with comfortable king bed and massive flat screen TV with large choice of channels.

The only downsides was the lounge was hot as no air con, water pressure in shower was ok but not great, there was very limited storage (small cupboard and 2 drawers). But as you can see these are really minor issues.

The hotel pool area is much better than the photos on the site. It is a decent size with loungers. The pool is not used much as people seem to be in Napa for short trips and so out all day. So we had it more or less to ourselves most days.

There is an excellent breakfast with a hot choice of the day, and nibbles and wine in the evening. We really liked this place. It was a haven of peace and quiet. Highly recommend it.

This was a recently remodeled 180 year old home. There were 16 rooms and a dining room. In addition there was a basic pool and jacuzzi in the nicely manicured and private backyard. Our room was one of the largest and most expensive, however, I did look at a smaller one that was very nice-just small. We chose this room on the 3rd floor so we wouldn't hear other people. The floors were creaky and I don't know if you would hear people above you, but I would think so. Everything was new looking and while the home was victorian style, the furnishings and decor were more "pottery barn" with a touch of victorian. I preferred this look, it was very clean and uncluttered. There are no elevators, so if you are on the 3rd floor and have lots of luggage, it can be quite a workout. Someone will bring the bags up for you if you request it. Also, the third floor has angled ceilings and my husband bumped his head a couple times. They do provide a quaint look though. They provide a nice concierge service if you need it. Our bed was very uncomfortable, so that was a dissappointment. The breakfast and evening wine and appetizer was nothing too exciting. However, we had just come from a stay at a place in Mendocino (more expensive) that was excellent in this area so we may not have a fair perspective. The inn is located in a neighborhood just a couple blocks from downtown Napa. This is a plus if you wish to have some places within walking distance. However, I would probably not stay in the town of Napa again, it is just too far from the areas we wanted to spend our days in. It would take at least 20 min to get to our first stops near Rutherford. An traffic can be bad at times. In my opinion, the best place to stay in somewhere in Yountville or between Yountville and St. Helena. Traffic is horrible on 29 near St Helena so I would stay south of there. That area is a sweet spot for great wineries and restaurants. However, we did prefer the price we paid at the White House Inn over some of the other places further north. We typically stay in luxury accomodations so this wasn't quite up to our expectations, however, the price made it enjoyable. It would be nice if they added a mini-fridge in the rooms.

My husband and I came for our honeymoon and it was the perfect place to stay!! The staff was amazing...they were so quick to set up any reservations for any restaurant, winery, and activity. They recommended a wonderful restaurant to us the first night we were there and called and got us a reservation that night. They even told the restaurant that it was our honeymoon and they greeted us with glasses of champgne when we sat down!

We also had a couples massage with our package...it was amazing!!! We recommend going with an hour and half instead of the 50 minutes. We both didn't want the massage to stop....we wish we did the hour and half!!!!

Every night they offered a wine and cheese hour and every morning they had a beautiful breakfast!!! Both were awesome...very tasty!!!

My husband and I recommend the White House Inn and Spa!!! It is the perfect romantic getaway for any couples!!! Beautiful rooms, awesome staff, and close to downtown Napa!!!

The service was top-notch, very attentive, seemed genuinely caring about how we were enjoying ourselves. Very positive and upbeat.
The room was beautiful, well appointed, and retained classic beauty with modern touches.
I believe this to be the only Bed & Breakfast with spa services in Napa. Location was good for convenience since it was downtown and just south of the vineyards.
I liked everything about it. The breakfast was incredible! Top-notch chef!
