Constant blaring from televisions and radios of occupants at all hours of the day and night. The general manager is unfriendly and makes no effort to keep people from blasting their televisions or radios. If you complain about the noise level, the GM will threaten to have you escorted from the property. Additionally, The VCR's do not work, and there is no central heating. There are vents that are supposed to allow warmth into the rooms. Nevertheless, the vents do not allow any warm air into the rooms. Thus, the occupants of the room are subject to temperature that are approximately the same as the outside temperature (in winter 35 to 4o degrees). Also, the blankets for the beds all have holes in them that appear to be from someone that perhaps dropped a cigarette on the blanket. The maid either speaks no English or is just plain mean. Every time you pass her in the hall, she has a scowl on her face.
Plus, the general manager often times ovecharges for the candy, sodas etc and keeps the extra money. And, the GM insists on weekly payments and refuses to rent rooms on a daily basis.
To this day, there is a bullet proof glass encasing around the " GM's " office. Apparently times have changed and no free coffee or cookies are offered as the previous poster mentioned.

Before we had an apartment here, my boyfriend and I searched around for the cheapest hotel we could find while we did apartment hunting.
Pacific Euro was it. We had a 7x14 ft. room and we shared a bathroom with everyone else on our floor (there are 2 women's bathrooms and 2 men's bathrooms for about 30 rooms). It wasn't as bad as you might think, but the rooms had an infestation of fruit flies and I even saw a cockroach in the women's bathroom once. I wouldn't suggest staying there unless you spring for something on the first floor where the hall is locked and you have your own bathroom. To give you an idea of the atmosphere, the reception desk is cased in with bullet proof glass. The free cookies, tea and friendly employees make up for reeking like cigerette smoke everytime you leave the place.
