my fiancee and I stayed here for almost a week on business. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There was a pretty large fitness center that had a tv which was great. within walking distance to in and out, walgreens, castro street. the room included a flat screen tv, really comfortable bedding (labeled firm and soft pillows!), kitchenette, couch. all of the amenities of the room and hotel made it feel like a home away from home. the breakfast was pretty substantial (one of the best i've had at a hotel) and there was a cozy eating area. i would strongly recommend this place to others.

I stayed for 3 nights in October 2011. The hotel is excellent for business stay. Close to Mountain View downtown. The best thing I liked about the hotel is the broadband speed. Breakfast choice is minimal.

We stayed at this Holiday Inn Express for over a week and we were extremely pleased!
The rooms are beautiful, they are equipped and decorated in a way that makes you feel right at home [or at least the way you would wish your home would look like :-) ]. They are also clean and kept to a high standard, and it is obvious that every little detail was well thought out to make the guest feel comfortable and have all the amenities one may need. For example: The bath had a clothes-line (which we didn't find in any other motel or hotel in which we stayed in the area); there was a work-desk + a coffee table + a tray that you can put comfortably on your lap for food or a laptop - so you could really take your pick with whatever you like best.
The beds were very comfortable and we loved the linen!
The bathrooms were spacious, and offered everything we needed.
The staff was very very friendly and helpful, and really made us feel that they were happy to be of service when we needed assistance.
We also found the location to be very good, especially if you have plans in several different locations in the valley, since the hotel is located right in the middle of the silicon valley and allows quick access to the 237 and a short distance from food and shopping centers.
The only down-side that we saw is that the AC was a little loud, but most days we didn't need it so it didn't bother us too much.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends, and would love to stay there again if we get the chance.

My husband and I recently stayed here for two nights. He had a procedure done at a local hospital and I needed a hotel that was close, comfortable and quiet. Upon making the reservation "Gladys" was an angel in helping and assuring me that she would pick a room that would see to our needs. She was extremely helpful and compassionate and did in fact secure us a room that met all of our needs. The room was clean, quiet and the bed very comfortable. In going through this difficult time in our lives, we could not have asked for a better place to stay and the staff were great. The breakfast choices were numerous and although I was under a lot of stress with the upcoming procedure that morning for my husband, the staff made me laugh with one in a "Marilyn Monroe" wig for halloween. She was very attentive and friendly as were all the staff we encountered including the manager. We will definitely stay here again. Thank-you, you truly are service excellence at it's best!!
