This past week my wife surprised me with a quick trip to the Central Coast to celebrate my 34th Birthday. We generally stay at luxury 4 or 5 star resorts, however we opted to tone it down this week. I am glad that we did. It was a welcomed change of pace. The Sea Air Inn fit the bill for us. We stayed in room 123 (my wife actually asked if I was being serious when I told her our room number). The room was huge. The room was furnished with a king size bed, two couches, two dining room chair, a small round dining table and a large coffee table. The room was equipped with a refrigerator and a coffee maker. The owner even provided an iron for us upon our request. The room offers two separate views of the bay. A view from the sitting area (couches) and a view from the bed area (a large bay window).

The room was dated, but clean. It was a comfortable room, the bed was a little firm for my liking. Neither the onsite ice machine or the soda machine worked. However, the motel is a block from a number of stores and restaurants. This motel is in a great location. The place is a great value and is certainly a must for the budget minded consumer. The free breakfast in the morning was "acceptable", however I think the oj was really Tang.

Reserve in advance to get best price. Long wait for hot water, thin walls. Great for travelers who want a no-frills, budget experience.

Very thin walls, extremely loud plumbing, noisy ice maker. 2 story walk-up. Close to the water and clean though. Good coffee shop across the street.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful with restaurant information and site seeing.
Rooms were clean and tidy.
The town does not have much to see or do!
