We enjoyed our stay here, bought some great Californian wine but had no corkscrew or wine glasses! Andy and Kay supplied these no problem. room was clean and a very god rate. Coffee and muffin at reception next morning before we left. Close to surf beach, seals swimming around near restaurants, weather wasn't great,quaint little seaside shops made up for this during the rain.

Yes we had mold in the shower. The fireplace did not work. The Free Breakfast is a joke.The Lady (mgr?) worked in Lobby @ breakfast time in her PJ"s They had empty rooms but when I reported the mold in shower they did not offer us another room. No we would not stay there again

we have stayed in morro bay on our twice yearly motorcycle trip to the usa for the last 8 years and were sick of being ripped off with high price accomadation,so in june this year we decided to shop arround.we cold called at the bay view and were pleasantly greeted by the owner who showed us a nice room at just over half the price we have paid in the past,we had an excellant stay and returned on 1st september for our second stay,we prebooked this on the internet and got another good rate, this time we had a room that overlooked the bay and the rock,once again we enjoyed an excellant stay.the hotel is one block from the emborocardo where there are many resturants,this is a freindly family run hotel and we will be back june and september next year

Generally speaking, Morro Bay and the central coast of California is quite costly when seeking good lodging. From the exterior, most of the inns/ motels/ motor lodges all look the same, but what makes the difference between them is the customer service, cleanliness of room, and quality of furnishings/ decor.

I ended up selecting the Bay View Inn because of the great special I found on the Internet. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly and courteous on-site manager who was knowledgeable of the area. Much to my surprise (bad luck with hotels lately), the room was very clean and a bed so comfortable, you could actually fall asleep.

The Bay View Inn is two short blocks from the wharf where you'll find many gift shops, restaurants, and even a coffee shop/ bakery. You can leave your car in the parking lot and walk. :)

California has many small beach communities, but what makes them more enjoyable is having a nice place to stay. There's nothing worse than trying to walk around with a backache because the hotel you stayed at provided sub-par beds. Well, not at the Bay View Inn. I have already extended my trip to Morro Bay for two nights because of this great little Inn.

To the managers here at Bay View Inn: Thanks for providing outstanding customer service. On my next visit to Morro Bay, I'll be sure to stay at Bay View.
