“Avoid this place and spend more money elsewhere”

Right next to the freeway, this "quality" Inn is almost as low as it gets in cleanliness, service and upkeep. George Mante the manager promised a microwave would be placed in our room. It never appeared. He did not inform us when we made the reservation of an additional pet fee of 15 per night. Our bathroom had a loose towel bar/rung that had been half-hazardly rescrewed on with the white plaster still showing. We had no face cloths and the towels were sparse, old and thin. The exit/entrance by our room, 138, had a large trash can FULL of garbage that stayed there until the last afternoon of our three day stay. When I asked the maid to give us extra towels and I told her I left her a tip she barely acknowledged me! Don't try to save money by staying here folks, spend a few bucks more at a better hotel.
The breakfast bar was out of english muffins every am. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid at all costs!

“Worst hotel experience ever!”

Well, for starters, in our room the telephone did not work, the bed lamps did not work, the tv channels were pretty basic. Because a sports park is across the street there was kids running up and down the hallway and on the second floor and they were knocking on our door late at night. You could feel the springs in the mattress and the blankets were really thin and not comfortable. They charge $15 a night for a pet. When checking out I had to wait nearly 15 minutes to get change because I was paying in cash and the man in charge charged me $6 because of a dirty towel in our room!!!! Mind you, it was not muddy! It just had dirt on it from having on the bathroom floor when taking off our shoes. He was a total idiot! And the towels are not nearly worth $6! They were so thin and scratchy it probably would have been more like $2.50. So even though it was a convenient hotel because it's across the street from the sports park, I would totally pay the extra money and stay elsewhere!!!

“Wouldn't stay here again”

Upon check in, we should have turned around and walked out.

The room was not ready when it was supposed to be (3pm). There were doors open to some of the rooms on the first floor and they were filthy. Ratty carpet, bedding looked poor quality, and it didn't look like it was going to be a good place to stay. We should have listened to our guts.

The manager on duty told us to come back in an hour and our room would be ready. We did so, thinking the maids were just being slow or maybe called in sick. Giving them the benefit of the doubt.

After checking in, we decided to go swimming in the advertised "heated" pool. Polar bears might have thought it was heated, but it was ice cold to us. The spa was nice, though. Pool towels were stacked in a room off the pool area, and looked like someone had taken them out of the dryer and just dumped them there.

Breakfast the next morning was rather dingy and poor. They offered hardboiled eggs, stale hard bagels, bread and stale precooked waffles that you could heat up in the toaster, and cereal. There was one individually wrapped package of pastry sitting on the counter that someone apprently disposed of there. After one bite of bagel, we decided to go to the Starbucks a couple exits north on 101.

I can't really think of anything nice to say about this hotel. It is not up to "Quality Inn" standards.

The "business center" is one computer sitting on a desk in the lobby across from the front desk. If you use it, you would have no privacy since whoever is working the desk can watch you. I like privacy when checking emails or doing business.

“Great Experience at Quality Inn Morgan Hill”

Quiet, clean and pleasant experience. All requests were handled timely and courteously. Very nice front desk fellow who assisted us in all our requests. We were in town for US Open Golf tournament & would recommend this hotel. We were in & out a lot and had good experiences all around. My phone is you have questions: 256-355-0142 ext 240.

A car was burglarized in the hotel parking lot during our stay. Room was dirty, specifically our bathroom with vomit (or ?) stains near the toilet, which were not cleaned even after we requested this of the front desk staff. Unfriendly night staff at the front desk. Cobwebs in the hallways. Not good.
