I stayed a couple nights at the Lincoln Plaza Hotel and found it to be a pretty good deal for the money. It has a nice lobby and my room was comfortable and well-kept. It's true the building is a little old and they could probably update some of the furniture. Incidentally, I don't think this place is a Ramada anymore.

this is the worst hotel i've EVER stayed at. there are like 20 cameras everywhere - how safe does that make you feel? why are there so many? the room was so dirty and old. the bathroom had a hole in the corner of the wall... where a cockroach came running in and out of. cracked walls in the shower. one night, we went to the bar and when we returned one of the dresser drawers was left slightly open, even though when we had left it was closed. i would never stay at this hotel ever again and i would not recommend it to anyone.

I'm not sure about the accuracy of the previous review. I think they might be mistaken about where they stayed. Nevertheless, the Lincoln Plaza Hotel is a pretty good deal. Monterey Park isn't exactly Beverly Hills, and there are only a few hotel choices in the city. But if you're going to be in the area, this is a good bargain. Nothing too elaborate.

Stayed here for one night and was pleasantly surprised. Room was a nice size and included a microwave and two TV's. Unfortunately the TV's were the same brand so sometimes they would both come on when using the remote control (only a small annoyance). After staying in a hotel in San Francisco for over twice the price and no where near as good it was a relief to find that this place was decent.

There was plenty of parking, the room was quiet and they even had complimentary internet that included free printing which came in very handy. To top it all off they had complimentary breakfast, that looked like it would be pretty good (especially compared to the rubbish comp breakfast we had in San Fran). Unfortunately we didn't realise it was complimentary and took advantage of there 12 pm check out so missed out. Enjoyed staying here and thought it was a bargain for the price.
