We purchased two nights using Travel Zoo special. We were surprised by the lack of an elevator, but were told it was "historic" and could not work (not sure how it passes the ADA).
Carpets were quite dirty in public areas. Some stairs were literally unsafe as the edges were giving way.
Room was OK. The need to get some real TV's (old ones and poorly working). Bathroom adequate. The need to replace toilets with larger bowls and higher ones...(being over 6'1"...it was a challenge.
Walls are paper thin. The street and other noises had to be a problem to many. The earplugs were a clue.
Breakfast lacked. A few added things would make it passable. Suggest...sausages, bacon or waffles.
It was a delightful setting...my wife loved that aspect.
Note about parking. If you park on the street during the day, one hour limit. If you find a place after 5:00 PM you can leave it until 10 AM...and it seems to be safe. Homeless people around, but not a problem. Walgreens open 24/7 just down the street.
