The beds are very soft, as in nearly shot. We tried 4 beds, all the same. The most disturbing thing was noise above my room. I did complain about it and was told it was not rented. ????? There were some areas of neglect in the housekeeping attention to detail, nothing terrible, but it did make me wonder about their 3 diamond rating. VERY NICE was the small, semi- private patios off the rooms which circled a lovely courtyard (pool in the center was closed for repairs). Well cared for and nicely landscaped. You could hear the seals barking in the bay and have coffee in the sunshine if you are on the bayside wing. Bring your own cup if your coffee is important to you, theirs are miniscule. You have to go to the restaurant next door for breakfast. I'd have rathered grab a banana and a muffin from the lobby to eat on my prorch. In all, an average inn in a very nice setting.
