There we were looking for a great hotel to book for our exciting weekend at the Formula D races, for our sons birthday present. Our tripadvisor app led us to this doubletree. Once we reviewed the property online we called and found out they gave an extra discount to all Formula D event goers! So eager to get to the races we checked in that weekend and were pleasantley surprised... This place was even nicer than the photos. BTW the photos online do no justice to the hotel at face value. The price was great and we originally only booked one night but after such a nice time we decided to stay an extra night. They even upgraded our room and made the whole transaction so smooth and easy. They have a great staff, wonderful, breakfast and lovely bartender. A place for couples or the whole family!! There are tons of places to dine at nearby.... Can't wait to see you next time, and please always carry those yummy warm cookies!!!

The hotel was conveniently located near the Rose Parade and had a nice pool, but pool use was somewhat limited because they would chase us out of the pool area if we had any outside food by the pool, leaving us with having to buy pricey hotel food if we wanted to enjoy eating by the pool. It would also be much nicer if they would ban smoking by the pool. Service was fairly poor. It took multiple requests to get towels replenished. The lighting in the rooms needs an upgrade because there was no place to sit in the room that had what I would call good light, especially if you needed a brighter light.

Only bad things to say about this hotel. They literally applied my credit card to someone elses room charges and then refused to listen to me about it. Called the corporate office and they took care of it. They even told me that the General Manager of this hotel has refused to speak to them about this matter. There are 2 other hotels right in the same area. Stay at one of them.

Love the decoration of this hotel tho you can tell this was just being renoverted. But it is a nice changes. Internet is free and fast. Room is nice, modern and clean. Some reviewers don't like the slinding bathroom door, no tub shower and low bed, but it doesn't bother me at all. Parking is free too that was a plus. Overall, I have a really good experience here, good to see a modern nice hotel after long day out. The staffs was nice but you won't feel warm and welcome, they are just doing their business, but they are still doing good job. Tons of restaurant around.
