“Bang for your buck”

LOW, LOW, LOW rates!!! How can you get a room less than $70.00 a night???

We were looking for a space on our way to Yosemite and stumbled upon Tropics Inn, popular for the TIKIs.

I hadn't expected much from low cost room price. But, it was a pleasant surprise. 100% renovated rooms with decent space, it sure made our stay very comfortable.

Brand new carpets, curtains, furniture, paint and bathrooms (motel manager had informed us), we were ready for our true vacation.

Keep up the good work!

What a horrid hovel that was passed off as a motel room: toilet seat not attached to the toilet, thoroughly stained carpets and walls, cigarette-burned bedspread, damaged window screen allowing flies inside the room, unworkable smoke detector, sheets and pillowcases that couldn't have been laundered...Fortunately, the Days Inn a few blocks north had a perfectly acceptable room available.
