“Nice hotel if a bit expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

I stayed here for 3 nights on business. Location wise the hotel is convenient being next to the freeway. It is a mix of low level building and a 9 floor tower around a garden courtyard and pool which makes for a nice view if you have an inward facing room. My club level room was not ready on arrival so I was offered a suite which sadly faced onto the freeway and whilst large was basically furnished and really very dark.

The amenities were ok appart from the fact that the only sockets were behind furniture or next to the sink so absolutely inconvenient for working.

The club lounge was comfortable and being on the 9th floor had good views.

All in all a reliable hotel but the rates seemed very high but that's the Valley for you.

Room Tip: Get a room with a courtyard view.

“Below average for the area”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Location and building is quite nice but you can get better much value for money in the area. I paid above 200USD for a standard room with a king bed. The flatscreen tv was nice and the bed was comfy, cleaning was also good.

Some of the downsides:
- Internet is 10USD extra per day (free wifi in public areas)
- Internet speed is extremely sluggish.
- No in-room safe.
- No in-room bar/fridge (you can get soft drinks in vending machine by elevators and more drinks/snack in convenience store at the reception).
- Restaurant/bar is a bit dreary and has a limited menu (cooking was ok though).
- Heating/aircon is through an old unit on the outside wall which is noisy and results in uneven heating of the room.

Save some money and stay in a nicer hotel in the area unless you need this exact spot or are depserate to stay at a Sheraton.

“Similar to other Sheratons in the area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

I got a quite large room (502) as an upgrade, I guess. It had the bedroom (2 queen beds) separated from the living room and a quite large bathroom.

Similar to other Sheratons I've stayed in this area, the room is a bit dark at night as there are no lamps on the ceiling and the lamps are quite far one from the other.
Also, this room had only a small round table. No office desk (!!!)

Housekeeping is very good. I found the bathrooms pristine every day I was back at night. The staff is very well trained and willing to help you.

Room Tip: Try to avoid rooms facing the highway. It's not that noisy, but I guess rooms facing the other s...

“3.5 star Sheraton”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2012

Stayed 3 nights at this Sheraton property. Check-in was quick and easy and free parking at this hotel. The hotel is not within walking distance to any nearby restaurants as it is located in an industrial area. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. The room had a Starbucks coffee maker and flat screen tv and ipod clock radio. There is no safe or fridge in the room. Having no safe in the room was a bit of a inconvenience as we had to take all our electronics with us when we went out. Also there is free wi-fi in the lobby, They charge $10 a night to have wi-fi in your room. I would stay at this hotel again for the right price and only if you have a car to get around. NOTE: The restaurant they have is expensive and has terrible food. If you like cold (yes COLD coffee) coffee for $4.50 and like to pay $5.00 for a side of toast or $20.00 for a omelette then this is the place for you. Stay away from The Bistro!!!

“Good Business Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2011

It is kind of good hotel, but need to catch up with starwood standards world wide ... Location , Rooms , Service were pretty good. Food was good , but they kind of serve same menu for their break fast buffet. Got kind of bored for my 10 day stay . Pools are relaxing and good. But Gym is quite a disappointment in comparison to some other Sheraton properties world wide ... Need to have a bigger space with more equipment in there ... A Mini Bar with some beers stocked in would also help ....
