Stayed at the Homestead suites for 4 nights on a business trip to Milpitas.
The only reason I chose this hotel was that it was right across the road from my office and I didnt have to commute to work.
The rooms were average and had a kichenette attached. Since these were extended stay rooms, there were some utensils and knives which I found were considerbly worn out.
The hotel's policy was to clean the room only once a week and you have to pay extra if you want the room cleaned more often. That sucks.
No restaurant so dont expect any gourmet food. There is a market nearby which seemed to stock only chinese food and ingredients. Lots of Chinese shops and restaurants around so you'll need to get across the freeway to find some italian or other cusines.
Stay here if you only want to. Else there are may more better places to stay around the area.
