My husband and I stayed at the Packard House for our honeymoon one year ago. We loved it so much we decided to come back for our anniversary. This is the best B&B in town! The staff is so warm and welcoming and make you feel right at home! We stayed in the Kasten and Garden Cottage and love them both. If you wish not to dine in the main dining room they are more than happy to deliver a breakfast basket outside your door that's filled with a delicious assortments of pastries, fresh fruit, orange juice and coffee. The entire town is within walking distance of your room. We will difinitely be staying here again!

On a recent trip to Mendocino, California, my wife and I stayed in the Garden Cottage at the Packard House. We didn’t really know what to expect as we had never been to Mendocino and had never stayed in a bed and breakfast. All in all, we were very impressed. The Packard House is a wonderful bed and breakfast that offers great amenities and superb service. The beds were unbelievably comfortable and the breakfasts were awesome. If you’re looking for a great bed and breakfast, you will not go wrong with the Packard House!

My husband and I stayed here in March of 2005, we were looking for quiet romantic relaxation and thats exactly what we got. This B&B is a lovely house in Mendocino right near the ocean. It's very quaint and has beautiful grounds outside, including a hamock you can lounge on. We stayed upstairs in The Garden Court room which was nothing short of amazing. In the morning we got an amazing breakfast brought up to our room in a basket. In the evening we socialized with the other guests had our'derves and drank wines. The owners were so warm and friendly and socialized with us. They gave us great ideas on local sights, we ended up hiking up the Russian Gulch and saw an amazing waterfall at the top! The jetted spa tub with built in heater was just what we needed after the 5 mile hike! We got a weekend package that included wine in our room upon arrival and dinner at the moose cafe which is only about a 10 minute walk from the Inn, dinner was also amazing. We look forward to returning one day!

After checking in to the B&B and retiring to the Pacific View Room, my husband was brushing his teeth when suddenly water came rushing out of the pipes, quickly flooding the bathroom and leaking water down to the first level. We could not find an emergency number, but quick thinking friends phoned the reservation line and an emergency number was given. My husband had shut off the water at the valves and within minutes Damien arrived. His first concern was our comfort and he immediately offered the cottage for our stay. This was a spacious room with a fireplace, sofa and chairs and a small table with two chairs for dining. It was not the ocean view room we had hoped for, but it was lovely. It was very clean and although the bathroom was two steps down, it did not pose a problem. Breakfast at the inn was a two course meal and was well prepared. Coffee was ready at 8:00 a.m. and breakfast was served at 9:00. There was no mention of wine in the afternoon during our stay. Oscar, the Yorkie became our fast friend and greeter.
