We stayed here for one night only but wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was comfortable, modern, clean and even the free WiFi worked! (which didn't happen in other places we stayed) The complimentary breakfast was excellent and the location was a bonus as it is very picturesque.

For the price it is a superb deal.

We stayed here the nights of Oct. 23rd & 24th. Our room was mostly clean. We should have checked to make sure there was a microwave & small refrigerator - their rooms do not have these. That is a deal-breaker for us, so we will not stay there again.

The location is nice, as it is off the main street. Renovations were taking place on the exterior. Our air conditioner/heater wall unit made the room smell musty & at time smelled like mold. The toilet paper holder was an industrial-type where you cannot pull the paper off the roll, and it was gross. It had grime, rust and other GUNK on it. I complained & the staff member just made up excuses.

The lobby had a Buddhist poster (or something like that) and informational packets describing some type of literature declaring that God can be reached through any religion. I think religious beliefs should be left out of a hotel lobby, especially when promoting non-biblical beliefs.

The shared refrigerator was broken. The waffle machine required a spray to prevent sticking (other motels do not require this) & the waffle mix was runny.

Not recommended. Try one of the local motels, including the Miner's Inn.

If you want 5star go to a GrandHotel,the Comfort inn was exactly what we wanted at the price we wanted to pay.The rooms are clean,water hot,breakfast(free) is ok,parking s free and it's only a short drive through stunning vistas to Yosemite.To eat go to Savouries for choice the Miners fr price,and the local store the Pioneer supermarket was as good as any big town store it's behind Burger King ,you have to look for it

Well well, another Comfort inn, following the one we just had a night before (in Merced).
This time we are almost next to the heart of Yosemite national which automatically "pumps
up" the price rom 80 to some 145 US$. and what do you get for is:
Nice staff at the front desk, quiet quiet rooms,nice breakfast and a clean room that "whispered me" that it had better days......but lets say simply its OK....(By the way the room in Merced was in a better condition).
Ok, you are close to Yosemite (25 miles) and you are in walking distance to a great Pizzeria which name I forgot but you can't miss.
Beware, if you want to stay here make a prior reservation....
