I have to say that I am shocked about any negative reviews on this place. I usually travel to Los Angeles about every other month. This is the only place I ever stay. It's not a 'high end' establishment, but I dont expect that when I'm paying the great prices that I have. It's very convenient to several destinations that I usally visit while in L.A. It's about 9 blocks from Venice Beach, 3 miles from Santa Monica, 5 minutes from Culver City, and about 1/2 hr from West Hollywood. The rooms are spacious. The TV's are flat screen and have basic cable. The maid service is fast and efficient. They also have a free continental breakfast which is basic but definitely fills you up before you head out. There is a Coffee Bean a block away and a Walgreens across the street. Check in is extremely fast and helpful and they are avaliable at the counter 24 hrs. There is not a pool, but a hot tub that is clean but usually empty. The only complaint I would have about the motel is the extremely small parking lot. It's sometimes hard to get in and out. Not a monster problem though. Overall, if your looking for a cheap, clean, convienent place to sleep this is the place! If your looking for something fancier and going to be spending more time in your room, I would recommened forking over some more cash for something fancier.

We stayed here for 4 nights in september and had no problems with the hotel. We found it clean, comfortable and roomy. The fridge in the room was usefull and it had a bath and a shower. We liked the free breakfast and free parking. We had a hire car so this was a good base, not far away from venice beach. It took a while to get to hollywood etc. but that was moslty the traffic and LA is so spread out. Also has a walgreens supermarket across the street. Would definately recommend the ramada if visiting LA on a budget. We would happily stay there again.

We got this hotel from pricline which was advertised on thier site as a 2 start hotel but as it turns out it's a motel and a bad one. They don't even have a hotel lobby, I am not sure if they have during the day but not at night. We parked our car and the manager literally gave us the key from a small office window. The room was quiet big and spacious but had a weired smell, the moment we entered. The coffee maker still had some coffe made by previous guest. The curtains and desk had a heap of dust on it. The same with the bathroom. I was scared to take a bath since the bathroom looked so dirty. This was our last day of the trip and the worst hotel of the whole trip. Please do not buy this hotel for the breakfast inclusive package. The breakfast was a joke. There is seat for may be 5-6 people and food for the same as well. The coffee was cold, ohh you actually have to heat it in a microwave. And except for some bread and pre packaged sugary stuff there was NOTHING !!! Our advice for people traveling to Venice Beach pay a little more and save yourself from a motel disguised as a 2 star hotel !!!!

We stayed here for 2 nights and when we arrived about 2pm, our room was not ready which was a shame because we were severely jet-lagged and told to go take a walk. Reception staff weren't overly friendly or knowledgeable about the area.

The room was very clean and spacious. Great selection of cable channels, lots of storage space and all the amenities you could need. From the outside and our first greeting we never thought the inside would be as good as it was.

The price was decent considering how expensive it can be to stay in LA. In saying that though, the only walking distance attraction is a section of Venice Beach.

We had to catch 2 buses to get to Santa Monica and then 2 more buses to reach Hollywood. So time spent travelling was a real let down.

Unfortunantly, we would not stay here again as most of our time was wasted in trying to get places.
