I probably rated this hotel a little higher than other travellers might because they did 2 things right off the bat that made friends. One, the rates they listed in orbitz were for refundable. It surprizes me how many hotels are putting the scews to the customer on this and getting away with it. Two, I missed my flight and took a day off my prepaid reservation. They refunded me for that day. Parking is free. The hotel does look a bit dated but is clean.

We booked the room well in advance of our trip and decided to stay in the room with a jacuzzi as it was our last night in the USA of a long road trip. The room we got was dirty, smelly, had no jacuzzi and upon our investigation the only jacuzzi we could locate was outside which was dirty and not working. We asked at the front desk about the room but had no response that indicated we were in the wrong room. Having read reviews when we got home it became very apparent the room we paid for with the jacuzzi exists but we didn't get it. Noisey rooms too. On a positive note, decent breakfast, great underground parking and not far from LAX.

I wouldn't stay here again and would like my money back from the room that I actually booked.

I spent one night here last week, and was concerned prior to staying due to previous reviews. I stayed only because a friend had previously booked this hotel way in advance. My friend brought up the concern regarding the ants as soon as we checked in. They said they had had the place sprayed for ants last week. I saw only one ant the whole time I was there. The room was as clean as it could be. This place is an older place which desperately needs a remodel. When we checked in they upgraded both of us from a basic room to a spa room. That made this stay much more pleasant. It was nice to have a free breakfast in the morning. The pool area is clean and nice. Would I stay here again, perhaps. For one night. The front desk clerk was very pleasant and accomodating upon check in.
