Cycling down the west coast we found the need for a lot of motels/hotels. This one was dead last where cleanliness and cost were concerned.
When checking in we found the check-in chick and her boyfriend making out like there would be no tomorrow. Upon entering the motel room we found the slate floors very dirty, (no carpet), and the well worn, thin pillows smelled like those you'd find at a homeless shelter. On the floor in front of the toilet we found drops, many, of pee... the floors were not cleaned.
The following moring, when we checked out, I complained about what we had found and was told the bill would be adjusted... it never was. They had our money... and that's all they cared about.
All around the room was dirty... never again.
Room Tip: There are plenty of options in Malibu... any one of them surely would have been a better choice.
