Husband and I visited LA to do the Hollywood/Universal Studios and Disneyland thingy. Chose Mission motel based on the good reviews and cheap rates, despite location not being at the central of either things we wanted to do or go to. As it turns out, we enjoyed this motel a lot. In fact, we immediately came back to this motel after our Vegas trip! This motel isn't luxurious. But who needs luxurious when you're visiting places most of the time? In fact, the availability of a microwave and fridge, heated water made this motel a very comfortable place to stay in. The owner, Andy, was really nice too. He is friendly, without being intrusive or anything like that. He also invested a lot on the wifi and trust me, the internet is indeed high-speed and totally exceeded our expectations. Plus, it's free! Awesome!
We would totally recommend this motel to others, provided you have a car. There is free and safe parking too! Cause the parking lots are like within the motel compound and literally 10 steps from your doorstep. Cause, the motel is really close (literally 1 min drive) to the freeways and it is very easily accessible via car. We are not sure about the public transportation there though. It's probably good too. Although Lynwood itself isn't really a popular accommodation choice for many tourists, try this one out. The jacuzzi room is really special too! Big, clean and comfortable. We loved that room! The location of the motel is pretty centralized too, which was what we really loved. Will definitely return on our next visit! :)

I live in San Diego and work in Santa Monica during the week and use different services and reviews to choose where I will stay for the week. I have to say that the Mission Hotel is the best deal in town! The rooms are clean and the towels are fluffy and clean looking and smelling. The room is equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator, The place is quaint and very quiet. It's easily accessible from the freeways and actually very safe. There are alot of Cops visible at any given time because the main station is very close. So you might get the idea that there's alot of police activity in the immediate area, but they are just being dispatched from there.I think you will be pleseantly surprised. The manager inspects every room himself on a daily basis to see that everything is in order. I will definitely be back here on a frequent basis.

I needed an inexpensive hotel in LA, not too far from LAX. With the easy access to the Highways, and wireless internet service and a great price, I had what I needed. I was then surprised by MORE -- pleasant rooms, off-street parking, refrig/micro and very kind service. I had a good rest, and was reluctant to leave for the airport run I had to make the next morning. Very grateful for the staff and the experience. It was good!

This place is a very quiet and nice place with great service . Rooms were clean and its location was ideal for me. Close to frwy and metro which was good as i had to go to downtown LA for a function . For the price i couldnt complain.
