Referred to this hotel by a friend and left terribly disappointed. Check-in was pleasant but when I arrived to the assigned room the room had not been cleaned from the previous guest. Once I was relocated everything seemed fine. Upon check-out I'd inquired about membership for guests that visit regularly and was treated very poorly by the front desk clerk, Jacob Choi. Choi suggested that I couldn't afford the property or meet the necessary requirements to be a member of this particular hotel which was completely unnecessary. Choi's superior Ji Hyong Jung wasn't very gracious in his poor attempt to resolve this clerks attitude. As a result, I continue to search for a pleasant hotel to visit as I am in Culver City 2-3 weekends a month. Could have been a nice place but turned into an unfortunate experience...hope yours is better.

the hotel was pretty nice for the price but the only problem i had was the tv was not working that night. how can you not have the tv not working at hotel?

The hotel has recently been renovated and it looks very nice. The lobby is well laid out, the room had nice neutral colors and basic artwork. There was even a flat screen TV in the room.
But there are still numerous problems with the room:
-the hotel has no workout facility
-it uses little to no CFL lighting
-no notice on how to be more environmentally conscious (most hotels mention to guests how they can leave towels and sheets in certain areas of the room.
-the TV has less than 30 channels, and no movie channels
-the coffee maker in the room is poorly designed
-there is a $2 chanrge for ice
-ants were in the bathtub
-no bathroom vent fan
-guests can be charged with $500 for smoking in the room - but the smoke from the patio leaks into the rooms surrounding it.

these are small problems but they add up when staying there for more than 1 day.

This hotel is right in the middle of Korea Town in LA and caters to mostly Koreans. We booked this hotel through their website and got a rate of $115 per night, which includes a korean breakfast. Koreatown is a conveniant location for a Los Angeles vacation. If you like korean food, want a unique cultural experience and are looking for value . . . this hotel may be for you. The hotel is is a bit worn but clean enough. The rooms are spacious. This hotel is barely a three star hotel and maybe even a two star (plus) hotel in my opinion but this is reflected in the price. The best part of this hotel is the free valet parking and reasonable mini bar prices! For great Korean food nearby try the "soon tofu chigae" at BCD Tofu House (two locations on either Western or Wilshire) and the BBQ Kalbi (beef short ribs) that you cook at your own table at Chosun Kalbi on Olympic for dinner.
