There were numerous things missing during my stay at the comfort inn on ventura (next to the denny's). Zippo went missing one day. & after i checked out, i called later that day to notify them that i had left some clothes in a drawer. they gave me some bullsh** about their lost & found not being open except from 8a to 1p mon-fri. i called back at 8a mon & was told it wouldn't be open till 11a, so i called back again & was told my things were never found. now i know some people loose their things & find them later or something, but i know for a fact that i left clothes in the drawer- 100% positive & they told me nothing was found. of course, by this time i was already back in colorado. i spoke with the manager, Tan, who was extremely rude to me on the phone & trying to convince me i must've lost my things elsewhere. He eventually started arguing with me & mocking me about my stuff & when i asked him if he was seriously being like that with me, he hung up on me. How mature! He did refund my card $20, which didn't even cover the cost of 1 of my items left/taken. if you want to save yourself a tremendous amount of stress on your trip, DO NOT stay here!!!

We are sorry you were not happy with our hotel. The GM states that you did say one item was missing, he asked the housekeeping department and then checked the room himself, your item could not be found. He states at this point you called him and the employees thieves and yelled at him. This is why he would not talk to you further. He still refunded you $20 as a courtesy. Your article of clothing would not be stolen by our staff, that we can assure you. Thank you.
