We stayed at this hotel overnight based on good reviews from Tripadvisor. However, I found that this hotel was a bit subpar. One good thing was the cleanliness, hence the 2 star rating instead of 1. The location is kinda horrific, right on the highway and at east a 15-20 minute drive from any attraction in LA. Highway noise kept us up and on top of that we had obnoxious next-door neighbors whose pot-smoking ways got in the way of our enjoyment of the stay. We stayed in over 10 hotels over this trip and this particular hotel was the shadiest.

We stayed here for 2 nights in august '11. The check in time was too long. Only 2 people and too many guests waiting for check in - disaster. Got the rooms after 45 mins. The room itself was quite good. It was a king bed. It was comfortable. Interiors were ok. The location was perfect for us since we were visiting universal studios and hollywood which are quite close by. The room comes with all necessary amenities like fridge, microwave, phone, tv. They had a safe for additional $1 a day. We recommend it. Ours went bad the first night, so called the front desk and batteries were replaced promptly. They have denny's on property that gives 20% discount if you are staying there. Parking is good but it gets full pretty quickly. Very hard to find parking spot if you come late. Overall a great stay at great price in LA. I would recommend.

Someone stole $130 worth of clothing from my room. I told the manager and he just repeated himself that he knows his staff and they wouldn't do that. All I know is I had the clothes hanging in the closet and then they were gone.

The room was very clean and nice. The service was kind and helpful. I liked the idea of non-smoking for all rooms. We paid half price, which seemed like a great deal. However, our room (528) was on the third floor right next to the freeway. Since we were at freeway level, there was no noise buffer and we didn't sleep much at all! Saddly, there was a crack between the door and jamb that drew in the smoke from people smoking outside. So we got a fair amount of cigarette smoke too. The pool was clean and had towels at poolside. The jacuzzi was also reasonably clean (leaves only) but was not wheelchair accessible because cars are allowed to park in front of it. So I left the wheelchair in the parking lot and carried my 80 daughter to the jacuzzi, squeezing around parked cars. I would only stay again if I knew my room was a quieter, less smokey one.
