We stayed here on the night before our cruise. It is a great location for the cruise terminal, that is where all the good things end. Our room was not cleaned well. It is an older hotel. The bed was not comfortable. The worst part was the bathroom was infested with ants. I told the front desk at checkout and all he said "sorry about that ", no offer to resolve the issue you! I will never stay at the Sunrise again and would not recommend it to anyone!

For the price, this excellent value!! The rooms are a little dated but clean. The pool/hot tub area is nice and there is a great continental breakfast included. And the best part is the nice gentleman who runs the place has a free shuttle to and from the ship. It is within walking distance of all the little shops and restaurants on the wharf/dock area. I would definitely recommend this place for anybody before or after a cruise. I would not hesitate to stay here again. It was the best value for the money I could find in San Pedro!

Sunrise San Pedro was the perfect location for our getaway with friends. It had complimentary breakfast, swimming pool, free parking and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly staff and always willing to help. The breakfast was suffice to start our day right (various breads, cereals, coffee, fruit). It fine for us but it may not be enough for some. The swimming pool was clean, average size but it was not heated (only swam for 1 day). The rooms were outdated, beds were comfortable, pillows were small, there was a microwave and fridge, a separate sink to wash dishes and bathroom was clean. It was very basic. Location was close to beaches, easy access to main highway, near the harbour which was close to ships if you were going for the cruise. We were pretty lucky as we had the chance to go to the Taste in San Pedro Festival. Our room had a great view (see photos). It was a safe place to be in we did not encounter any issues....we even went for walks every night. We stayed at this hotel for 6 days in the 3rd floor across the stairs (it was a great spot). Note - wifi was only available in certain rooms of the hotel - you may want to inquire from the front desk before you get settled.

We were taking an overnight trip to Long Beach to visit the aquarium, and needed aplace to crash for teh evening. The hotel is a little older but fairly clean. The rooms were comfortable for the money, but the beds were a little firm. This did not bother the kids, but my wife and I were a little sore in the morning. The staff at check in was very friendly and offered advice on were to find a decent restaurant, there were a couple in walking distance from the hotel. The kids took an evening swim and the pool and had a blast.
