Terrible neighborhood. Hotel badly in need of renovation. I will never stay there again. There are plenty of hotels on Century Blvd (around the corner) which are much, much nicer for only a few bucks more.
Elevators are beat up, rooms are not up to the usual HIE standard. Rooms have a weird layout with a bathroom door that swings outward and collides with the main room door. "Business Desk" was awful with a clear glass top which rendered my mouse useless. The phone on the desk did not work. Poor selection of power outlets.
Worst of all, I came out of my room at about 6AM to find a homeless man asleep on the 6th floor landing next to the elevators.
This hotel is in a nasty neighborhood, the elevators should be room-key protected! I am a football lineman-sized guy so the vagrant didn't bother me all that much, I can handle myself. But I would never recommend this place to a female or a person who is at all concerned about security.
I am a Priority Club Gold Elite member, I got onto the PC web site and complained about what a dump this place is.
