Central to the stunning LA Union train station and one of LA's sprawling Chinatowns but an expensive ($61US) cab ride from the international airport. My room was upgraded and was large with two double beds, a small table and chairs, a tea and coffee making area, a bathroom with a shower over the bath and a toilet with the handbasin outside the bathroom area. Breakfast is included and is plentiful but unimaginative (e.g. cereals, fruits, muffins, toasts, cold hard boiled eggs, juice). Staff friendly and helpful. Exterior tiles along access balconies very slippery in wet weather. Short walk to cheap restaurants and the beautiful train station.
