Priced somewhat high compared to similiar motels in the area, and no places to eat close by. The people were pleasant at check-in, and the room was clean and cozy. The pool and jacuzzi are nice. Went skinnydipping and no one seemed to care .. I thought that was pretty cool. I'll probably stay here again if I can get a better deal.

Whatever you do, don't stay here! The rooms are dirty and noisy. The front desk people are rude. Vending Machines are empty. However, the worst part of the stay was that there was NO hot water for showers in the morning! I have now attempted to speak to the manager twice and keep getting the run around. Please avoid this destination at all costs!

Exterior of hotel in good shape, interior needs attention, remodeling! Hotel boasts Contenental breakfast: it was awful! Spend a little more and go somewhere else....this town is pretty seedy!
The room itself was okay, however, the hotel looked nothing like the pictures. Also, this motel is not as close to Magic Mountain as we orginally thought. It was still about 10 mins down I-5, and then a few minutes on yet another freeway. It wasn't too far away, but much further than the "few minutes" that the brochure and website indicated. the breakfast was okay. There are much nicer places closer to Magic Mountain.

We planned a family vacation to Six Flags Magic Mountain. Because we were not familiar with the area, I went to their website and they recommended three hotels in the area. From the photos, the hotel looked decent. We checked in and were given the keys to our room. The moment we parked in front of our room we could tell that the area was a bit seedy.
We went into the room and it smelled musty, the room was dark and not very inviting. As customary, I always pull back the comforter as I know hotels don't wash after each vacancy. I then pulled back the sheets to lay down and to much disgust found a pubic hair and a huge yellow urine stain. Also, underneath the 70s style dresser was old food and wrappers.
I went to the front desk and told him that our room had not been properly cleaned and we wished to check out. He asked if the room could be cleaned for us and I said no and explained what I had found. There was no apology, he just checked us out. We ended up driving up closer to Six Flags and paid a bit more but it was well worth it. Our kids refer to the Super 8 as the Crazy 8.
