Great location, walking distance to the Grove, Beverly Centre and other shops, as well as LACMA and the tar pits. The room was pretty basic and small, but clean and tidy. Bit of noise at night, but not enough to keep us awake. There was no elevator, so had to carry our suitcases up a couple flights of stairs, but no big deal. The staff were really nice and helpful. Fiddlers Bistro is right next door for great food and service.

I will be making this my place to stay when up in the Hollywood/Beverly Hills area. The rooms are spartan but clean. The bathroom spotless. The staff is fantastic, they remember you and call you by name. There is an on-site restaurant that serves great tasting food. I am looking for a clean room with a comfortable bed to sleep in at night. If you set this expectation you will not be disappointed when staying here.

The reviews were right on. It's a very basic hotel, the receptionist are friendly, the rooms are clean, kind of a retro-vibe in a cute way, location is superb. Walls are a little thin though, we were walking around in the room getting ready for bed and the downstairs neighbor complained that we were being loud. The staff was very nice about it (they apologized over and over ).

I stayed here with my partner and was very impressed with the location and price. The room was spacious and had a tv, free wifi, fridge, table to eat at and a large closet. The bed was very comfortable and large (no tiny double bed). The bathroom was not special, but clean and functional.
Overall, I would highly recommend it if you want a great location and comfortable stay at a good price.
