“Really nice place”

Great place to stay , Bob was a really nice hepful guy.
Walking distance to Joans on 3rd (lovely deli, great for lunch and brekkie, amazing variety of cheeses and dips etc and the best cakes) and the farmers market.Felt very safe in this area.
Lovely room with the best bed, We had a one night stop over here and really appreciated having a great bed after a long flight from New Zealand, it's about a $40 taxi ride from LAX and $35 from hollywood stars & kodak theatre.
Everything seems to be very spaced out in LA.
Breakfast was great to, highly recommend the granola fruit and yoghurt then we had a cheese omelette. With taxes we paid $210, a bit of a treat but very nice.Great Kitchen that has coffee and tea, there is also a lovely sitting room.

Room Tip: The garden room was great

“Wonderful Hosts Great B&B!!”

We had a 7 night stay around Thanksgiving. Bob and Ahuva went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and absolutely NOTHING was too much trouble. They were informative about wht to do in the area and how to get to places. They have a fantastic sense of humour and are excellent hosts. The location was excellent, Grove and Farmers Market very close by. The facilities are spacious, very clean and serviced every day (which was not the case in other stays that we had in other places). The fact that such things as bed linen and towels being changed was very much appreciated. The housekeepers do a fantastic job. The bed is very comfortable, The rooms are spacious, bedlinen and towels superior quality and thoughtful touches such as flowers, chocolates, fruit and toiletries were lovely. There were other guests staying but we were not aware of them being around except at breakfast. The breakfasts are a feast and of delicious quality and variation with many special treats. Don't hesitate to book here......Bob and Ahuva go out of their way to make you comfortable!

“Delightful B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 December 2011

Everything you could want in a B&B - a wonderful, charming, helpful hostess; comfortable clean rooms; a great breakfast, and a fine location. Garden Cottage is a 10 minute walk from the famous old Farmer's Market, close enough to the LACMA and La Brea tar pit museums. Close to several LA metro bus lines, too. It's in a quiet residential neighborhood but with good restaurants just minutes away by foot.

“We loved Garden Cottage”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 November 2011

My boyfriend and I stayed with Ahuva and Bob for 5 nights this month and had a wonderful time there. The B and B is beautiful and the bed was the most comfortable we have ever had. Ahuva and Bob were very kind and hospitable, we enjoyed chatting with them over breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. The location was ideal, a very nice area with lots of resturants and bars within walking distance and the farmers market just down the road. We felt very lucky to have found Garden cottage and plan to be back very soon.

“Second visit as good as the first”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 November 2011

This was our second visit in the last year. This time we stayed in the newly remodeled garden cottage. Once again Bob and Ahuva were great hosts. The location is perfect, near Farmer's Market, The Grove, LACMA, La Brea Tar Pits Museum, Little Ethiopia, and the 3rd Street shops and restaurants. The only complaint is we were not able to stay longer. The cottage is great for longer stays and families since it has its own full kitchen. A street pass makes parking an ease and you can also walk to many of the sites. The breakfast provided is fresh, delicious, healthy and filling. Thanks for another great stay.
