I love this place. It is so perfect, it is comfortable, it clean, it quiet and the staff minding the place is extremely warm, extremely friendly, extremely helpful, extremely sweet and extremely hospitable I stay there for 5 days and stayed at Room 6. The room is so spacious and well maintained.

Breakfast is simple and it good. The kitchen is so well maintained. To get the hostel, the Metro is about 10 minutes walk or less. One can easily get food, supermarket and souvenirs in the vicinity which are all in walking distance. Overall the price is reasonable, the hostel is clean and comfortable, the staff namely Bea, Laura and Keith are so sweet. The location is so accessible to shops, food outlet, supermarket, Metro station and the major attraction. Kudos. Hope to come back again one day.

This was our first experience in a hostel and it exceeded our expectations. We stayed here for 7 nights in a private room. The room was clean, and we had a shower and toilet right outside.

Staff were very nice, courteous and helpful, even upgrading us with free towels and wi-fi because we were staying for an extended period.

Location was the best part about the hostel though, 2 minute stroll from Hollywood Blvd and nightlife of LA, yet the whole hostel was very quiet, allowing for good sleep.

Would definitely stay again.

I stayed here for two night. It is great value and absolutely fantastic location. it is a one minute walk to the Hollywood Blvd - Kodak & Chinese theatre, Wax museum etc.

The accommodation itself is exactly what you'd expect of a Hostel - it's not immaculate - you won't get a hairdryer i your room or your room cleaned. The bed is pretty old and the pillows are a bit tough... any it's a bit noisy yes... but you are right in the thick of it - if you want luxury stay somewhere else!

My recommendation - jump on the citysights LA bus... get started early (I started at 2pm and wish I had started at 9!). it is $25 US for a 24hour pass. You jump on two mins from the hostel and the tour actually taught me a lot about the history of LA and the stops suggested things I would have never thought of doing - Automotive Museum, Tar pits, and shopping locations.

Stay here if you want great value, don't mind roughing it a bit and want to be in the thick of it!

This is a decent hostel with clean rooms and a location that can't be beat. It is literally 2 min from all the major Hollywood attractions and public transport.

I stayed here for almost a week in September. This is the 3rd time that I have stayed and that should really say it all. There may be other hostels in Hollywood, but the location of this one can't be beat. The staff is generally friendly although requests out of the ordinary seem to generate a lot of anxiety. They were very accommodating when I wanted to extend my stay and not have to move rooms.

The lounge room had been updated since my last visit and I think they have improved their wireless infrastructure as I had no trouble getting the net in my room, outside and in the common areas.

Its not the cheapest but you do get good security and an unbeatable location for the extra amount.
