We recently spent some time at the Los Feliz Motel and although the location is fabulous...the trade-off is not worth it. In our "suite" the windows didn't close completely allowing the significant street noise to stream into the room. When we tried to block it with the air conditioner, it only had two settings and virtually no way to control the temperature or flow. The sheets were pilled and the towels thin. When we realized that the shower didn't drain and that it rapidly filled to the height of the shower door, we complained and were yelled at by the management ! After insisting that they had fixed it ( which they hadn't) they threatened to kick us out ! Again, the location is great for walking around Atwater Village and Griffith Park, but oh the trade-off!!
