At $92 for a king suite it is a very good value. Big room with plenty of space. I was on business trip. I had a ground floor king suite.It was spotless. Quiet. Not much to look at on the out side, typical motel. But in the room very nice with plenty of workspace. Easy access to freeways and resturants.

I just got back from a 1 week stay in the Los Angeles area and this was the best hotel I have stayed at in a long while! The room was spotless from the carpet to the sheets and bedspread to the small appliances. No odors and the room was spacious! The shower/tub had plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Our king-sized bed was comfortable. The air/heat worked well in our room and the temperature was always at the setting we desired. The coffeemaker, refrigerator and microwave helped us keep the eating-out expenses to a minimum. There was an iron, ironing board, hairdryer, alarm clock and nice television with remote. Everything functioned appropriately. There was free internet service. The parking lot was secure with plenty of spaces-free. It was too cold for swimming but the pool area was neat and clean even for the off-season. The free continental breakfast was very basic but adequate for us with cold cereals, milk, coffee, juice, etc. The area for breakfast in the lobby was small with 2 chairs for each of the 2 tables there but we preferred staying in our room to eat anyway. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially the young man in the late evening. He helped us with directions and picking out things to do while in the area. He even called me one evening to let me know I had left my car lights on. The motel does not allow smoking or pets. We were on the lower level in Room 115. It was very quiet and we rarely heard any noise from the upstairs level. The housekeeping staff stocked our room daily with shampoo, conditioner, lotion, razor, shave lotion, toothpaste and toothbrush, and did a great job with keeping the room neat. For all the amenities and the area, I thought the total price (including tax) of $508 was great! I probably won't be going back to LA anytime soon but you can bet that if I do, I'll stay here again! I was very pleased with the service and accommodations!

We came to the LA area for a weekend (wedding) and chose to stay here for its proximity to our destinations, as well as the reasonable price. Honestly I was hesitant to stay at a Super 8 as I haven't heard great stories in the past, and I didn't know anything about the neighborhood. We were pleasantly surprised about the cleanliness of the rooms, and the immaculate parking lot, and the safe area. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

the location of the property is excellent if you want to get around to doing the usual touristy stuff in LA. But for some reason the people at the front desk have a serious bad attitude problem. Forget about a smile they are close to being rude. We had stayed at the super 8, la mesa at san diego just a night before and the Indian owner at the desk was delightful and knowledgble. walking into culver city was just the other way round. The check in clerk was ignorant and rude. The breakfast was below par. They had exactly 2 things of which also the bread ran out and on being asked was given an answer by the lady that just do without it! Disinterested owners.
The good part was that the location was fabulous and the rooms superbly sized and good.
