The hotel was in excellent shape, and the staff treated me like a family member. I would definitely return. I was there for a two week stay, and all the staff was super nice. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and the rate was great for the area. Thanks for making my stay so enjoyable. Special thanks to the front desk staff.

This Hotel has nothing memorable. We went to this hotel for Los Angeles Half marathon, and chose it because it was conventiently located near a metro station for transportation from the finish line and it was near some Hollywood attractions... the room was not clean, the smell was awful and the hotel seems a little bit unkempt... the only thing good about it is that the room was big.. that's it.

On October 11, 2011 I checked into this property for an interview the next morning. Though the location was convenient to the interview, the room was disgustingly filthy and hadn't even been vacuumed as evidenced by the dirt and debris on the floor. The bed was of the 1960s variety with blue stripped ticking -- what wasn't shredded -- and extremely hard, no pillow-top here. The wiring in the room was interesting as I had to move the coffee maker into the bathroom to find a working plug, as with the clock and one lamp. The heat/air unit hadn't been used or cleaned in years and would have caused a blinding dust storm had it been turned on. On top of the deplorable condition, I made the mistake of leaving the room for 2 hours to walk around and have dinner. While I was out, a hotel employee entered the room to return the broken TV remote. The next morning I realized my black Tahitian pearl pendant and 14K gold chain were gone -- even the travel bag I had them in was taken. The front desk manager would not take a report, call the police, or offer any assistance stating they used electronic keys and had a record of the comings and goings of the room but would not release any information. I was late to the interview -- never a good start -- then had to go back to the hotel, again be told they would not report it or participate in any way. I called 911 and had to go to the Hollywood Police Station. While every officier I spoke with was polite and empathetic there was not much they could do without the cooperation of the hotel. So, in short, if you leave your room, take your things with you. Better yet, stay somewhere else.

A Clean room with a distant view of the hollywood sign. Pleasant staff. Reasonable bed, however the bath towels had a lot to be desired, they were very very small and paper thin. No hand towels, face washers or tissues in the room. The towels were like paper, so thin and the sheet had a cigarette lke burn in it, but appart from that it was just ok!!, Area in which it is located is just 1 1/2 mile from Chinese theatre area, free parking supplied so you can catch a bus if you want up town. The area is not that desirable, but ok if you just want a place to bed down for the night. A light continent breakfast was supplied and was ok.
