Stayed here for a weekend trip to LA.

Location: Kind of ok ... right on the LA Metro/Bus route, I think the stop is right next to the hotel. For driving, it is kind of funny location ... Make sure you take 10/710 to reach the hotel than what your GPS or Google maps may tell you.

Rooms: Not noisy, basic, little cramped bath, kind of dirty floor carpet, very small closet, spacious bed and spacious room. Microwave and fridge nice additions. Old CRT 25" tv, works ok

Breakfast: very basic, just cereal, coffee, pastry, frozen waffles.

internet: no wireless .. make sure to ask the hotel manager to give you a cable. Very SLOWWWWWWWW ...

I have stayed here on an extended basis. The staff are very friendly, the room I have been in is a true handicap accessible room in every way -- I have never found it to be the case in ANY hotel. The room seems to be recently updated and is clean. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, tv, etc. The cons: noisy area and people for whatever reason like to be loud outside all night. Tight parking spaces. The entrance driveway is not a true 2 way so be careful entering and exiting. The morning food selection is better than nothing but not a lot. Pros: short distance from Los Angeles downtown area and to Pasadena. If you take Poplar Blvd all the way to Freemont St and beyond, you will hit the area with restaurants and stores on Freemont etc. You can ask for discounted rate for extended stay and AARP.

We had a very nice stay at this particular motel. Staff were incredibly nice, helped us out with locations to visit and directions as such. Room were a decent size, which was nice and clean. The room comes with a small refrigerator and microwave.

Internet is free in the rooms but is an Ethernet connection (a staff member brought the cable to our room and even setup our laptop), a computer is available to be used in the lobby but is charged.

All in all, a very nice place, would recommend it to everyone. By the way, check in early so the staff can readjust your room to your preference.

You definitely get what you pay for with this hotel. Very cheap, at around $60/night.

Location is so-so, 10-15 miles from downtown LA, but this can take more than one hour in the traffic. You will definitely need a car, very limited public transport available. Alhambra is not a beautiful place- not too many good restaurants around and not much to do at all! There are a few supermarkets about 5 mins drive away, however.

Room was not very large. Had a strange chemical smell which persisted throughout our stay. King bed, TV, microwave, fridge, hairdryer, desk, table and two chairs provided.

Not very clean. Chairs were heavily stained and carpet had many sticky spots. Stains on the walls and doors. Furniture was dated. Bathroom was ok - looked like it been refurbished recently.

Free internet via ethernet cable connection. Very fast connection. Rooms were very quiet at night. Request a room away from Huntington for a quieter night.

Free breakfast provided consisted of pastries, muffins, cereal, toast, tea and coffee. Coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Service was average, front desk was not very friendly. Free parking.
