Radisson in a great hotel to LAX for one night, but I found nothing special ... I gave un'imprerssione cold and unwelcoming. Restaurant, the waiter at the restaurant has been very kind even though I ordered the potato all'entrecote fries near me, and instead served the spicy potatoes embossed ... The room was pretty large, but they felt too much noise and clamor of the corridor, the phone in the room had the keys that are blocked. I think that the structure can also improve a lot because it has a fabulous location. I hope the next time I go back I find some positive changes ... good luck to all the staff!

We were very pleased with our recent stay at the Radisson LAX. Before my stay, I sent room preferences by email. Ms Lundquist was kind enough to promptly take care of them for me & everything at check-in was as she stated (not a given for other places I've stayed).

Having Gold status, we were placed on the 12th floor and a nice cheese & cracker plate was waiting for us in the room upon arrival. The room itself was spacious and had good views north and more importantly, despite its close proximity to the airport, the double-paned glass absorbed nearly all of the noise from landing airplanes. It was so quiet that we did not need to run the room fan overnight to drown out any noises.

The continental breakfast was good and the servers were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is one of the closest to the LAX terminals so you could walk to the airport from it but there were also shuttles available.

One nice thing about the LAX area is that there's free street parking on W 98th St and surrounding areas (I'm not aware of many other airports which have free parking so close to the airport itself). However, be sure to read signs to know what the restrictions are for a particular part of the street (some are 2 hr, some are enforced 8am-6pm while others 8am-midnight, some areas do not allow overnight parking, etc).

Wifi was free & there was bottled water in the room.

Flight to Madrid, Spain cancelled, so the airline put us here for one night stay. On-site restaurant was tasty and priced modestly, although we received $25 voucher each from airline for dinner ($15 for breakfast).

Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet, despite being one block from the airport.

Staff was professional and courteous. However, due to the time of night and the cancellation, the one person working the check-in counter had to deal with over 150 stranded airline passengers. I was the first one to check in, so I don't know how angry/rude the later passengers got? Certainly not the hotel's fault.

Overall, a nice stay for one night, BUT BEING A NATIVE LOS ANGELENO, DO NOT WALK AROUND THIS AREA AT NIGHT. Stay in the hotel and enjoy the bar, or watch T.V. in your room.
