Iam a first timer to Los Angeles and gotta say Iam very happy with my choice of The Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Hollywood. Easy to get to places by Metro and by foot. Breakfast is great and facilities are kept to a high standard defintely recommending this Hotel to my family and friends

Thw hotel is a 5 minute stroll from Hollywood Boulevarde and the walk of fame. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby and close to the tour bus routes.

Nice large rooms with aircon and breakfast is included. Very friendly and helpfull staff.

Highly reccomend this value for money hotel

We just returned home from our trip to Hollywood.
Check I'm was a breeze, staff were very friendly.
Our room was very large, comfy bed and couch, partial view of the Hollywood sign. Bathroom was clean and a standard HIE bathroom.
The breakfast was fantastic with good choices. It was always nice and clean and quiet in there(we were early risers).
Checkout was fast and easy as well.
The valet staff were great. However we were charged $22 a day yet the sign outside said $20 a day. We didn't realize until we got home. But $8 isn't much to fuss over.
The location kinda seems "sketchy" but after wandering around West Hollywood, the whole place seems that way. However we never had an problems. So that in no way is HIE fault.
Overall we had a fantastic stay and fantastic staff. If we were to go back we would stay there or another HIE.

Usually it's not very easy to say something special about the chain hotel, like Holiday Inn Express Hotel, because it's absolutely predictable words. Yes, it was very clean, yes the staff was helpful and stay was very pleasant. Free WiFi and car parking are also available in the Holiday Inn Express Hotel. But! In this hotel the main advantage is the location. It's the middle between Hollywood Bowl and Hollywood Walk of Fame.
If you are going to visit the concert in Hollywood Bowl you definitely need to stay in this hotel, because it's the best place to stay and to park your car. The only one thing I need to mention is the noise from the road, especially during the concert in Hollywood Bowl, because thousands of people are pass by the hotel.
So in general it's a good place to stay for few days in LA.
