“Great Staff and a great room for me and kids to revisit for awhile.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 March 2011

We only stayed 1 night but, wished we'd of stayed longer. Great staff. Room nicely setup. Bathroom area ~ sink w/ counter on 1 side, opposite ~ counter w/ coffee pot and lots of counter space between the 2. 1 of the nicest bathrooms I got to use during my 8 days in SoCal. Plenty of room to put our stuff under the counters. Wasnt hard to spread out and relax.

My cell charger disappeared somewhere and I couldnt find it at the next hotel so I called the Seaport. The staff checked the room I stayed in. Had me call the next morning to housekeeping to see if they found it and not turned it in. Housekeeping checked the room. Didnt find it. So J found me a replacement and I drove back and picked it up. Needless to say, I have yet to find my charger but J was soo nice and found me another 1.

Great location. Lots of stuff ~ right on California State Route 1 aka Pacific Coast Highway. We drove the PCH down from Santa Barbara to San Diego. Next year I plan to stay here longer if I can.

“Location! Location! Location!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2011

I think this hotel gets a bad rap…. If you want the Hilton, this isn’t it . Anyone coming in for a quick stay into Long Beach but do not want to pay the downtown prices, this is your place. My room faced the marina, I walked to Joe's Crab Shack across the street for dinner, and then woke up to a Farmers Market and local arts and craft fair… apparently it happens EVERY weekend. I had a better experience in the marina than in the convention center area where my meeting was held. The location is great, the staff is helpful and friendly and the accommodations are just enough… what more do we need!!

“Great location with fair price to stay!”

Before I start writing this review. I see some people here complain about room, decoration, service...... etc. As to me, I have stayed in Seaport Marina for few weeks. I think Seaport might not be perfect as you imagine but not that worse as they described.

First, no one can deny that Seaport has the best location with ocean view.
The hotel sits in the heart of Long Beach. It only takes 20 minutes to Newport Beach, 30 minutes to LAX. Surrounding area provides good food from daily bases to high end level.

Second, the price is fair enough!!!
If you are looking for 4 or 5 stars hotel, please do not try here. Seaport is an old hotel with renovated rooms. I admit the room is not new nor fancy but the room is clean for sure. I think it's worth to stay with the price you pay.

If you have limited budget for travel and look for a better place to stay over, I think Seaport is worth to try!

“Motel Bates!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 June 2010

I will never stay here again . When I pulled up to the hotel, it looked empty the parking lot was broken up so I thought for a moment I was at the wrong place. The room was awful. The carpet was dirty , the room had an odor, and some of the rooms look like they had been closed for awhile. The refrigerator made a noise so we had to un plug it . The lobby was dark. I do not recommend this place, the picture is deceiving.

“Seaport Marina Hotel”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 June 2010

This hotel is terrible. It is in a great location to the Marine Stadium, and the shops around are very nice. The hotel needs a huge facelift. The lobby looks dingy, and I stayed in the renovated rooms, and things were not very nice. The coach looked dirty. We checked in late, and the corridor to the rooms (outside entrances) were all very dark. My daughter and I were staying there. I lasted one night. We left.
The bathroom had mold on the tile. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel at all. I talked to a local who said no one stays there!
