After arriving and being given the keys to the wrong room and opening the door to be blasted by cigarette smoke coming from the non-smoking room (ok, I guess it isn't the hotel's fault that people don't abide by the rules - but really, you could smell it so strongly that I feel sorry for the next guests of that room - and hope that the smoking guests had to pay a cleaning fee) I was a bit apprehensive as the occupants of the room who's door I opened with the key given to me at reception were quite understandably upset (especially since I sprung them smoking). It was all sorted out just fine and we were given the keys to the right room. The room was good except that it really needs a sheer curtain on the pool side glass sliding door - fine to have a nice view but people can walk by and see right in without a sheer curtain - which means you have to have the curtain closed which makes it very dark - so you need the lights on all the time.........not good for the environment! The room was nice and quiet and the breakfast was good. No wine left sadly by the time we went to the lobby for the wine and nibbles - but a nice thought! Not a lot of dining within walking distance - but shopping centre a little drive away - apparently even though it is close it isn't easy to walk to due to lack of pedestrian facilities.
