Stayed overnight with a friend. The room was and a nice size. The bed was comfortable. I liked that the sink and mirror were seperate so one person could use the mirror while the other was showering. It was only 15 min from 2nd street. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here during the Salon and Spa Show in Long Beach with friends. It's an older round hotel but it was very clean and staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us great directions to the hotel and to shopping nearby to pickup some items we forgot. Lounge on the top floor had an excellent view and was packed. Service was very good and drink selection was excellent! Martinis were great. We had no dinner plans so we decided to stay in on Friday night and eat at the hotel knowing that Saturday was a busy day. To our surprise, the dinner menu had lots of variety. Salads were huge and had a nice selection of sandwiches, pasta and steaks. We had a couple of vegetarians and they found a couple of choices that were tasty. We ate and drank until closing. Staff was wonderful and we were a bit loud.

Room was recently upgraded and beds were very comfy. Bathroom was a little small for two, but was clean. Free WiFi was very helpful and they had the biggest TV I have seen at a hotel, I think 40 inches or so. View from the room was great and we woke up the next morning and headed to the show all day. When we came back later that evening, the hotel was buzzing (I am sure they were soldout) and we headed straight to our room.

Overall a great hotel stay! Staff was excellent and they know how to take care of their guests! Kudos to Holiday Inn! We will be back again next year!

Right off the freeway and not far from everything you need. Most shops are down the street and certainly a few places to eat not far away. Pool is a good size. Good gym. Loved the bed and pillows. I was in the tower. The penthouse folks were all cool (bartenders, etc.). Nice lounge. Food was excellent too. Thank you for making my brief stay a restful and painless one! I really enjoyed staying at this place!

We pricelined this hotel. The hotel is very old, the rooms are not spacious and i don't think there have been any renovations ever. This is one of the first "3-star properties" i've been to in a long time with regular tube televisions. The staff is not very accomodating or attentive. Beds feel grimey and pillows are awful. (and they were charging $180/night)!!!

We are never staying at this hotel again.
