This is a newly remodeled motel. We stayed 1 night on a Park and cruise package. It included 1 night stay, 7 nights car parking and 2 free shuttle trips for 2 people - to Long Beach cruise port and back. The room was nicely remodeled with all new floor tiles, carpeting, new furniture, bed, bedding. I love to see when a hotel offers a nice freshly washed duvet cover instead of those old fashioned bedspreads. I especially loved beautiful crown moldings in the room and fresh beautiful reception desk. Front desk personnel was very informative and helpful. The trips to and from the port were well coordinated. There was an orientation flyer for the motel and the flyer for the shuttle. The room had a fridge and microwave. Free breakfast included coffee, tea, waffles, cold cereals, hard boiled eggs, bagels, donuts, apples and oranges.
The car was parked in front of the main building with other cars kept during the cruise and was watched over by front desk and security.
This location is very convenient to freeways, easy to find, a short derive to Long Beach attractions. The only thing left to be desired was better pillows so make sure to bring your own. I recommend this hotel. The price of the package was very competitive. I would consider staying there again for another cruise trip.

We stayed for one night expecting to park and cruise to Catalina Island using the Catalina Express. I booked my room online with choicehotels.com. After I booked the room I went to the hotel website which stated that they have a shuttle to the Catalina Express.

I called the hotel to confirm that they had a shuttle to the Catalina Express and she said yes. I then told her I had booked online and she said no problem just upgrade my reservation to park and cruise when I checked in. When we arrived the night clerk said it was not possible to upgrade and that whoever I spoke with gave me bad information that they did not have a shuttle to the Catalina Express. We asked to speak with a manager and was told to wait until the next morning. There was no manager available the next morning. So we were forced to pay $15 dollars a day for 3 days to park at the Catalina Express. I did book just a room however, the hotel staff should have told me that they did not service the Catalina Express and that I could not upgrade. I would have made other arrangements. We did report the incident , that our room was not clean, and that there were dangerous extension cords being used in the breakfast area. My husband sent pictures and he received an offer to credit us back $20.00 because they agreed that the room was not as it should have been.

The Quality Inn is a good, modest, budget-friendly motel. I stayed here for a marathon I was running and was very happy with it.

The location is close to the Aquarium and Queen Mary, and though it's off a busy street, it is quiet and restful. I didn't hear any street noise and was very pleasantly surprised.

The clerks are nice enough and my room was spacious, with two large double beds. Cable TV (with HBO) and free WiFi made me very happy. Parking was also free but not quite as ample. I can see parking getting packed very easily. They have a small pool but I didn't use it.

The room and bathroom were both perfectly clean and nice, though it was a little difficult to find the right temperature in the shower. The rooms also have wall heater/conditioner units, and I had the heater on and it was quiet and effective.

I had a great time at this Quality Inn and was happy with my stay here.

We truly appreciate their attention to detail and willingness to help in any situation, they are a wonderful addition to your staff!!!

On the other hand...the property is in HORRIBLE shape...the spa was cold and has no bubbles, the computer in the reception area was broken, the iron did not work, the bathroom was not only dirty but the wall paper is literally falling off the walls and the beds were VERY uncomfortable!!! /this property needs HELP!!
